I was looking at a 2003 x5 3.0i and I noticed that the + is on the bottom and the - is on the top....I thought it was the other way around?

Thats how its on the x5s.....

The upshift (+) and downshift modes (-) were "reversed" on versions of BMW steptronic for the E46, E39 and E38 models.

This can be reversed if you want a DIY. Take a look at the "how to's" under engine and transmission. The DIY is called "Reverse Steptronic Direction."

Yes, but Drawing? I saw drawing reversed, but it was factory...
