Need some help connecting HID ballast
 

My Bi-Xenon conversion is not going very fast but I have one set ready to try and align the projector with the high beam. I want to connect things up to a battery using a spare ballast that came wwith the MY2000 units but I can't figure out how to connect the ballast.

Which one of the two pins is Positive and which is Negative?

Ofcourse I can try to guess and if I get it wrong the first time I still have the spare from the other side.....but that is a bit of destructive testing I'd rather avoid.

Tri - You mean Positive and Negative = Hot and Cold? If it's so, base on your photo you posted above, the left hand side is hot (+) and right hand side is cold (-).

um, yes, I guess that is one way of describing it. Many thanks! I'll try that. Hopefully will have one unit completed over Thx'giving. :-)

Any marking on the casing itself with + and -? My aftermarket ballast does.

No markings, is yours marked the same as described above?
