mine is on, but clouded, ugly - has anyone replaced it with a RHD mirror (to get rid of the "objects are closer.." effect? I presume they are the same size..

Change the glass only - they are on ebay.
I am sure you cannot mount the glass from the driver side. This has another shape. Maybe you buy yours on European ebay - I have never seen that "objects ....." here.

Reference is to RHD, Right Hand Drive cars - I got a 'objects look..' Driver's Mirror purchasing a replacement in Canada :rolleyes: (for a Honda, gee, wonder what the source was..).

Anyway, the convex is not -that- bad on the X, just wondered if anyone had done it.
