Know of any 4.8is's for sale??

I am going to fly out and buy one tomorrow. Before I do I am just curious if anyone else knows of any good deals on one for sale. Figure if im going to blow my cash, I might as well know of all or any options out there available. :)

Not the UK!! Lol... I have to drive it over the ocean... :)

Im looking for something cheap to remove the entire drivetrain and install a complete twin turbo drivetrain into. I need a 1000hp truck. :)

Why does it need to be a 4.8 when you are going to build a Frankenstein?

I like the updated look and I want the certain features like adjustable ride height and Bluetooth Navi(and its got the fast navi).

I would just rather start with the most upgraded and updated platform... I see trucks anywhere from $14k to $28k. Pretty big difference in price depending who is selling it.

Im trying to find a truck out of warranty with a nice southern body, thats what I would really like to run into!

FWIW, the stock chassis, drivetrain, suspension will not hold up to 1000hp. Hope you like rampant wheel hop from the stock air suspension, or a multi-piece transfer case and/or transmission when the tires get traction while at WOT.

Ill take care of that... not worried about that... Thanks though. :)

Since you're ready to ditch the whole drivetrain to go GM or something else, why don't you take a Yukon, remove the body from the frame, and strip the X5, and install the X5 body over the GM frame. The wheelbase of each truck is the same, 111in

Like that you will have a full frame capable of mega hp, and no need to fit the GM drivetrain.. It has been done many times by 4x4 guys.

CHevy chassis handle like snot. I just sold my Denali and it was horrible It will be all original BMW except the motor/trans/tranfer case, and diffs when they blow...
