Auto Leveling Headlight Problems

Our X5 4.4i recently had the engine replaced, and this involved disassembling the front suspension off to put the new one in. a couple days after it the car was delivered back we started noticing the headlights did not auto adjust when starting up the car and while driving the lights point up and then down every couple minutes. what sensor is at fault here? the lights worked perfectly well before the work was done.

good chance when they put it back together, the arm was installed the wrong way. Easy fix....10mm (i think) socket and wrench (and the car jacked up). There is a chance that you won't even need tools if you push the elbow the other way when it's jacked.

thanks for the quick response ill try it when i get the chance!, yeah they probably too much in a hurry, the car was in for nearly 2 months and were already starting to get annoyed off it! they shipped like 3 different engines. first one banged onto the ground upon arrival, 2nd one was M62 engine instead of the N62, 3rd was the charm.
