Old Light... New Light QUESTION
 

just changed out the old for the new and was left with a couple of wire/connectors that I couldn't find a use for.... installed the lights and turned them on and all lights operated properly... does anyone know what these connections are for and will there be any problems with them not connected??? thanks for the help!

i think the gray wire is either ground or parking light... its screwed into the discharger i think...(the gray box)
just a thought

When you say that you changed the "old out to the new", what exactly did you go from and to? There are lots of variables here - halogen, Xenon, bi-Xenon, adaptive, non-adaptive, etc.....

excuse the ignorance, but i'm not sure.... I think they are Xenon adaptive, I think they are the same lights with different lenses, can you tell from the pic?

From the pics it looks to me like you simply went from the non-sport to the sport headlights (Xenon to Xenon), which should be a direct plug-n-play swap.

The 2000-2003's didn't have adaptive headlights.

I'll look at my connections and see if I can figure out what you have highlighted.

Oh, so that's what they are....thanks for the info. yea, i just really want to know if i can screw anything up not having those 2 connections connected. It seems as tho everything operates okay and no probs so far. thanks again for any help you can give. Chris.

how much did you pay for the sport headlights?coz someone selling me a pair of sport headlights for $500 + my old ones. is this a good deal? please help me to decide :dunno:

I am thinking of doing a retrofit with my Halogens. My question is what is the thing I circled (big red circle)? What is that for? And can I get any ballast from ebay? Just as long as it has that rubber boot for the xenon bulb?
