Help with Fender flares
 

are these the fender flares for a non running board x5. the guy at the dealer is giving me a good price in the front and rear brand new.

"the part # for arch kit without the running board is 51-71-0-398-335" thats what he wrote. i want to know it this is front and back it looks like it

any help would be appreciated

51710398335 = LeMans Special Edition Front and Rear Flares Retrofit Kit (no running board). Looks like its all there.

Everything is exactly like the 4.6/4.8 except the rear bumper supports (lower portion of rear flares). The rear bumper supports on the Special Editions are ROUNDED on the bottom - instead of squared.

so these dont stick out at all? i have the style 87 wheels. thought these would compliment well. anyone have pics of these on a x5?

There are separate SE retrofit flare kits - one if you have RBs and one if you don't.

hova1222, compare the part numbers of all your items to the list on that link to confirm you have the correct pieces.

i actually have the rear flares from the 4.8is but they are not in the best condition. can i take the bottom squared piece and combine it with this kit?

They DO stick out (look again at the pics).

The rear flares stick out and are a two piece design - just like the 4.6/4.8.

However, look at the lower portion of the rear flare. It tapers to the body because you don't have the rear ground effects of the 4.6/4.8.

If you want the 4.6/4.8 lower pieces you can get them separately.
