Damage
 

The question seems to revolve around the "core" support
Today I will have a closer look to see if the fenders have been
pushed back at all. Would like to see under hood as to the systems
damage. The possibility of getting everything into original alignment
and the systems brought back to spec... and functioning without flaw...
A decision for a later date.

Thats not so bad!! I hit a deer about a month ago. I also had just purchased this beautiful 2005 4.4...but it was fixed better than before lol...no kidding. I got all new parts and no frame damage...$14,000 worth of work, but Geico ins paid it all...if you look at the second pic, you can see some Deer Fur on the bumper. I felt really bad about the deer, but I felt worse for my X5:)

Nothing money can't fix. You didn't get injured, which is what you should focus on. Yeah, it still sucks.
