New euro clears are fogging up what do i do

Hi guys. I was in a accident recently. and i needed to replace both headlights so i ordered euroclear lights for my 04 4.4i instead of the US spec headlights. They are oem and i got them from rover active. They are starting to get alot of moisture in them and its getting worse. What can i do and did this happen to anyone else on here. I never had this problem with my original headlights

Anyone?

Condensation is not unusual. My OEM headlights have had it in two of them. One was replaced under warranty and the other is not that bad and something I just noticed. FWIW, the dealer told me that it must be from washing or some high pressure spray of water getting in the holes that allow for ventilation. Whatever. I'm not sure there is a fix. Some people just suggest that you turn on your headlights and burn off the condensation that way.

I agree with Pnongrata. It happens to me on one side only when i wash my X 4.4. but after a short time its gone.

My car used to do the same when it was new! been ok for some months now will have to wait until the weather gets really cold to see if it still does it

I've had these same Euro headlights from Rover Active for about one year now and they're doing fine (knock on wood). Good luck in getting the condensation resolved.

Ive got condensation before in other BMWS and it was always replaced under warranty. But my dealer wont warranty these. I was wondering is there a way to get the water out

My lamps are being changed today under warranty for condensation problems. Dealer didn't question the issue.

Mine fogged once but i found the problem for me, ok u knw where the wire comes out the back of the unit, well theres a round black rubber boot that is supposed to be snug and tight agaist the unit well it wasnt so i fixed it up and voila no more fogging!

edit: ofcourse i took the head light unit out first and used a blow dryer to get rid of the water in there then i putit back and made sure the rubber gasket i guess was on tehre tight!
