New BMW radio from China
Has anyone tried this radio.
Looks very promising. BMW E39/ E53 DVD Navigation Digital TV (North America), BMW M5 DVD Player GPS ATSC |
They are all over eBay as well. I'd love to see one in person etc. My X5 has the standard business radio and CD player, so this would be in the cards in 2012, after a paint job. :)

As I have posted on this forum a while ago, I have my Hualingan unit from china for more than a year now and never had any single issue whatsoever. Very happy with it. Mine was plug and play since I did not have the DSP.
(I had to cut the bracket inside where the old radio was to fit the new one) I think there are plenty of topics on "how to" with that unit. Just search for Hualingan or aftermarket radio and there are plenty on ebay as well I think. Over all I did not regret that spend all that money for it. It has all the functions that you will ever need. |
I too have one for a year or so and it works great. Best upgrade for $ 600.00

This is the Hulaingan unit. Some say that the Hualingan unit is OK and some say it's garbage. Check out these threads before shelling out $600+/-...
