Squeaking...
 

Hi Guys,

I am wondering if anybody experiences the same issue.
A couple of weeks ago my X started to intermittently squeak on some minor road imperfections.Not always,not necessarily in the same spot on the street.But what really draws my attention is the fact that the last squeak is always when I open the door getting out of the X.If I close the door and reopen the squeak is not present.
Any ideas?

Possible rear wheel ball joints,that's my guess,I had the same sound and my indy changed my ball joints now no more squeaking.

That actually could be it,because I had some SelfLeveling Suspension problems and few times drove with a low left side,because compressor has a limited time of operation,I would say 30 seconds and it quits,only when I learned the trick I was able to raise the back high enough for normal driving.

Same problem here, have a friend jump up and down on it and listen for what wheel it comes from.. I had a squeak in the rear upper control arm, the rubber joint is not serviceable thus the entire arm must be replaced..

I don't know if they have them in Canada but here in U.S Big O tires does free suspension / brake diagnosis

Upper control arm for me too. I still have to do mine. Very embarrassing noise

I don't have this issue but if I did, I would think a good shot of silicone spray would stop the squeak.

Hey, I think I might be having the same issue. When turning right onto an inclined driveway, I would get this horribly loud squeaking noise coming from the left back tire area. It's always the right turns or sometimes from road bumps too. Suspension problems? I'm out of warranty.

Ya unfortunately silicone / white lithium / wd-40 does not work on rubber bushings, that kind of stuff is a lot more effective at metal hinges than rubber bushings.

My suggestion would be to take the car in to a Big O or Les Schwab Tire as they both do a free brake / suspension check and they can narrow down your problem.

When it's snowing or raining,no squeaking :)
