4.6is does not like cone filter
 

So I thought i'd experiment and see how my car responded to a cone filter. Initially, I feel like it opened the car up, there was better throttle response, I felt like she could breathe. Then I stepped on it, and one of my coil packs went out...:-/
I put the K&N back in, and replaced the coil pack. I thought, maybe this was just a coil pack issue, I put the cone filter back on, felt fine until I stepped on it. The car bogs down, and runs too rich (I am guessing).

Anyone has any experience with this?
