Brake Switch Fault code

Today I got in my car after lunch and got the message "Trans. Failsafe Program". When I plugged in my Peake fault code reader, I got OF6A - Brake Switch.

Not sure what that means and / or what the brake switch has to do with the transmission.

Can anyone help me decipher this?
