e53 4.4i 2003 cv boots being changed
 

Hi, my x5 is going into the dealers on wednesday to have a set of cv boots. It has 50k miles on it. Is there anything else that it would be worth them doing at the same time that will prob need doing soon anyway?

Tension strut bushings and ball joints.

Ok thanks I can get those changed at the same time.

um, no there is not. tension struts usually go at 30k miles, and the ball joints around 100k plus. neither of these are more accessable when performing the cv boot replacement.
