What hose and where does it go, evap? (PIC)
 

I just looked at buying a 4.8 and popped the hood and the hose that I have circled (small hard plastic) ended in what looks like no mans land. Cant tell where it should end up or if this is right. Where the small hose in the picture "looks" like it ends in the picture is actually where it ends on the car I just looked at. Any help would be great, TIA

I have the same and I'm sure its just a drip or evap hose.

Differential vent/breather. I had a similar question when I saw mine last year. The hose was not on my '04 3.0- or at least I don't remember it- but it was on the 4.8is.

A quick search of this board led me to the answer.
