01 X5 suspension over inflated

My 01 x5 has an issue with the rear suspension. I'm getting the suspension inactive message on the dash. I've replaced the rear sensors in the back but my suspension is still inactive and pumped all the way up. There is close to a 12" gap from the top of my tire to the bottom of my fender. I pulled the 30 amp fuse to shut the air pump off. Is there a hose I can disconnect to release the air pressure or is there a manual relief valve?

Thanks for any help.

Release the air pressure through the banjo bolt - check out the TIS

Undo the airlines on the accumulators that sit in the spare wheel well. I think you can get to them without taking the plastic trim off but I am not sure. Just loosen them enough to get the pressure down.

Not sure that solves it but worth a shot.
