long time lurker... just wanted to say thanks for all the good advice you guys give. i just got finished changing my lower control arms with the diy article and it came out great and got rid of ALL of my vibration problems. i was so upset at the truck i was actually going to trade it in until i saw that article. thanks again for all of your help and look foward to another 80,000 miles out of my truck!! oops, i have a 2002 3.0 with 80,000 miles. :) :thumbup: :rolleyes: :bustingup :p ;) :D :o :rofl:

I am so grateful to my X5 not only because it is a great car but also because without it I would not have discovered this wonderfull site.

not to sure. but now that they are replaced. the steering is MUCH tighter and the vibration is nearly gone. :wow:
