x5 cold running issues

I have a 2006 3.0 diesel.If it is a cold morning,the car starts perfectly,but is well down on power until it warms up a bit,usually around 3 miles,then it is fine.If it is warmer the car starts and runs as normal.If any-one has any suggestions I would be grateful,before I have to resort to the main stealership.Regards Bob.

Hundreds of causes. Low cooling fluid can be a reason!
