Need Help With Parking sensors
 

I have 05 X5. PDC(Parking distance System) does not work. I had it scanned and I got a message that "rear sound generator" is not working.

Does anybody know where is it located?

if not please check on your x5 where the sound is coming from when obstruction is detected by rear sensors.

I believe mine has a speaker in the rear passenger compartment where the fuses are.

can you please listen to it and tell me where exactly it is. i would really appreciate it. I know there are fuses in the right side compartment of the trunk oposite from where the cd player and navigation computer is.

That's exactly where it is - attached to the left of the rear fusebox, tucked just inside the panel.

I concur. Same place on mine.
