New 18" Tires
 

Almost time for new tires on my 06 3.0..(sport package) 50,000 miles
The Michelin MXV4 plus 255/55x18's (08 vintage) will need replacing in about 4-5k miles....(I don't wait for the wear bars to show), they have been very good, fairly quiet and seem to handle well.
This is a south Florida car (rain but no snow)
So, my questions are
1 Can I use a slightly larger (fater, bigger looking tire?)
2 What tire will give me a quiet ride and good dry and wet handling
I have been researching this for a while and the choices are mind boggling, so I need some "real hands on" thought on this
