َAsk us (Q&A)

Hi all,

This thread is intended to be a support center for all E53 owners.

Here you can put a question and anyone who has previous experience shall write down an answer for your query.

All experts are kindly requested to visit this thread periodically and be kind to answer open questions or comment of wrong answers.

This is a quick Q & A, no photos no details no long discussions. The answers are usually Yes on No.

Example:
Q: Is my 02' E53 equipped with first aid kit?
A: Yes, it's under passenger's seat.

It's not feasible to write a new full post for above question.

For detailed subjects with photos/troubleshooting/prices ... etc I would post a new thread for sure.

I would urge admins to sticky this thread.

Thanks all,

Nezar

I'll be the first to participate.

Is there a way to check transmission fluid level? (I mean without unscrewing the fill cap underneath the car, simply as checking engine oil level)

"Here you can post your questions and people with experience can answer"

I'm pretty sure that's what the designers of Xoutpost did but it is much more advanced and collated.

Visiting this post would make my brain hurt trying to figure out who is talking about what

I thought that was 1 of the main reasons this forum exist ........Phil

+4...
The Board has select forums, and sub-forums. Use Search Tab, and if you can't find a page worth of full threads on your topic/question, then toss it up on the appropriate forum.

Using a thread like this one is like pinning a biz card on a cork board at the grocery store, and hoping someone finds 'yours' among the hundreds...

Thanks guys for reacting, though this is a quick Q & A, no photos no details no long discussions.

However, I'll leave it to Admins to decide whether to sticky or delete this post.

Thanks all.

Nezar

PS: I've edited the original thread text to clarify my idea. I'll delete this reply (and hopefully most above pals do so) if Admins sticky this thread.

I think you are still missing the point others are trying to make! :dunno:

And yet another issue with this whole idea is that the Q&A you posted as an example is not true for 90% of us(US models). Nice try though.
