My 05 on high the outside xen only are on , But if you pull to flash then all 4 light up.. If you can find a way to make "flasher" or 2 inner headlights come on at "high beam " please post!!

What he's saying is if you have xenons the only time the inboard lights come on is when you pull on the left stalk. They are for flashing only. You would probably get a warning if the bulbs were dead. I imagine you can check them by turning your lights on against a wall and flash them.

Outer are low beams,no matter Xenon or Halogen, inner are high beams and day running lights. It's a common BMW setup.

As other said, when turning your light on, only the low beams (the outer sets) are on. You can have the high beams (the inner sets) on if you push the signal-lever forward. Please don't drive with all of them on. You will blind on-coming traffic.

Hi All. I found a software company in Calgary that coded my truck to the euro spec and now when I turn on my hi-beams, the HID's open the shutters fully and the Hallogens also come on. I also got the company to code it so the foglights can stay on as well.
I would NEVER use the hi-beams with any on-coming traffic, but when I'm alone on the roads, holy cow does this light set up EVER look absolutely INSANE.

Yes understand that. I was only explaining that with Xenons the inners are only on while pulling i.e. they don't stay on. IIRC non-xenon inners will stay on if stalk is pushed. If they have two stage halogens then nevermind.

Hope it has the sense to be delayed, or don't use flash to pass - HIDs seem not to like turning on and off quickly.
