Me too would like to have the mph for when I cross the border. I don't know why BMW don't have both systems printed. Even my E46 was only in kmh.

If you want to experiment again, you could remove the needles, then the gauge faces, scan them, do some photoshop (add mph, X5 logo etc), then have Staple print it on a plastic sheet.
Then you just have to glue it to the existing faceplate.

If I don't find faceplates on EBay, that's what I will do. Unfortunately, this mod is #98 on my todo list :rolleyes:
