Need help with radio

Need help here. I removed the factory radio display unit, as I have done couple of times already with no problem, but this time when I put it back I could turn the radio on anymore. I checked and I get both constant +12v and remote +12v at the radio unit so I really do not know what the problem is. Any idea?

Alain - first things I would check are (1) all connections are back on securely, and (2) check all fuses.

Stupid suggestions:

Check and re-check your connections. I know they're not easy to screw up because they only click together one way but you never know.

Check your fuses. There is one in the front panel and one in the rear panel.

Bon chance!

Thanks guys for your very quick response. Anyway I found out what the problem was. I guess there is some kind of control switch somewhere (may be related to the clips on each side of the display unit) which prevents the display unit to work until it fits perfectly under the radio unit. I had to press on the display unit pretty hard before hearing the click of the clips. As soon as I heard the click the display started working again. The reason I removed the radio and display unit this time was to hide the wire of my new GPS unit which sits now on the dashboard over air vent.

Sure here they are:
The first pic shows how I hid the wire around the air vent and the 2 others show the GPS installed and working. I powered the GPS from the ignition +12v behind the radio unit so as it automaticaly turns on and off with the ignition. In spite of its small size this GPS rocks. It is very accurate, the voice prompts are loud and the screen is very clear. I was planning to buy the Nuvi 350 model from Garmin but got this one as a surprise for Christmas from my kids. This model also fits perfectly on my bicycle.
