Question about SMG Wheel...
 

hey guys i got a couple questions about the SMG wheel.

1. Once you use the paddles, can you also slide over the shift knob and use steptronic still? Or will it not work at all?

2. I know you need the Steering wheel, and apparently you need some other "part". What is this part? I tried explaining it to the place im getting it done and they seem to think that the "part" is the one that holds the signal stalks and wiper control. IF this is the part, M3 doesnt have rear wiper, so does that mean that mine wont work?

1. Yes you can still use the shift knob.
2.The other part you will need is the slip ring (they thought right)...the rear wiper function is not lost.

You may want to order the BMW connectors and pins for a clean wiring install.
