How to remove roof pillar

Can someone tell me how to safely remove the roof pillars? I don't want to break anything and mess with the airbags.

IIRC, you have to pop out the small plastic "ABS" piece, remove the torx screw, and pull the cover off. Other than the torx screw, it is held in place with clips.

While you're in there, make sure your sunroof drain tubes are secure.
