01 3.0 engine noise at idle
 

Hi all,

The X started this new engine noise when it's at idle. The oil was done a month ago. This is a video i found that very similar to mine:

Disconnect the DISA valve see if the noise disappears.
If not replace the tensioner pulley.

Thanks for the reponse Mr. Would disconnecting the DISA throw a fault? The engine idle normal even with the sound?
