E53 Led Exterior Door Handles?

I love the exterior LED door handles featured on 3 Series- 06 and newer as well many other models. Does anyone know if there is a modification available for e53's? There may have even been led door handles on the e53 and I am not aware.

Anyone heard or seen anything?

That is amazing, I've always wanted add leds into my door handles. If only somebody lived close to me that knew how to do this.. or can help me with it.. :(

Looks awesome, the resistor doesn't get hot does it? The LED's still working great months later?

nice!, Michigan isn't too far away. I visited Frankenmuth during December, lol if I ever get a free weekend to come by I will for sure let you know! :D

But I'm really tempted by this mod, so I may try to attempt this by myself sooner :thumbup:

Nope...The lights only stay on for a minute or two...You don't drive with the door open so the resistor doesn't have enough time to heat up..:D
