Help! Driver side window got stuck wont go down

As the title said, my 2001 window side window won't go down when press the button the switch. Check the fuse seems fine. I took the door panel off to check just can't seem to find the problem. No sound when pressing the button. Could it be that the window regulator or motor gone bad:dunno:. Thanks for any helpful tips.

FWIW, the seven or so regulators I had go bad resulted in the window opening but not closing. My bad regulators never prevented the windows from opening.

So, I think that is the window regulator gone bad. Also, another thing that bother me is that few days ago the engine shut down when step on the gas pedal, it keep doing for few time. I had to wait for a while then everything seems fine. Don't know what went wrong:dunno:.

Check fuses again. Pull them out and look at them. There is a fuse for the specific window. Will the window open from the remote?

Already checked the fuse, seems fine. Haven't try to open it with the remote, but give it a try today.

Try it yesterday with the remote, just can't get the driver side window to rolled down, all other three works fine. Anything else I should try:dunno:

Again, are you sure you checked the driver side fuse. The other thing to do is take off the panel. Get to the electrical connection, and give the pins juice direct from the battery right to the motor. One way will roll it down, the other way it will roll up. If that works, than you need to look at the switch itself. And no, the pass side, does not work on the driver side. At least on my car. I tried. lol.

No hijacking! 😜

To offer a suggestion to your troubles... If no codes are showing, then I'd first consider changing the cam position sensors. From there, it may be a fuel delivery problem if it happens more often. Fuel pump may be dying depending on the age and mileage of your ride..

Start a new thread and see if others may chime in??

Good luck!

To the OP, I agree with Slick.... Check the switch for power.

Did you remove the regulator and motor to verify that they are both working? I got a window got stuck on me once. It didn't go down. Took the panel off, disconnect the connector, re-connect it and give the motor a little help. The window went up and down fine since :dunno:
