No GPS Signal
 

Hi All,

I have a 2004 4.4 sport X5 and the Sat Nav is not working due to lack of GPS signal.

I have got into the workshop settings area and have found that it can not see any satellites when the tailgate is down (in the normal position) but when the tailgate is raised they all appear and every thing is ok.

Although it is good to know that all the components are working is makes it a little hard to drive around with the tailgate up to use the Sat Nav ;)

So the natural question is, where is the GPS receiver located, is it in the tailgate spoiler, is the coax cable broken?
