ah ecs to the rescue....

I thought he meant full exhaust system, guess the tips are cheaper

It'll take a little work to fit them on the non 4.6 and 4.8 mufflers as those have mounting points designed for the wide oval tips but I've seen it done a few times before. Looks great and isn't going to change the sound of the current exhaust.

ecs i would love to buy those but the problem is i live in cali and your office is far. One more question if i take the resonator is there any danger to the car or nothing changes.

tmv 06-29-2012 09:36 AM

^ There should be no danger to the car. Afterall, it's just a sound deadening (spell check?) device.

We ship all over the world, so I'm only a few day away ;).

Removing the resonators just going to change the sound of the exhaust.

I am going to do some measurements tonight, I may be trying a set of 4.6is looking tips from magnaflow, approx 60 bucks each (maybe less), they will need to be welded on. I'll post up a link later on.

Gotta have some other options for 3.0s haha!

Little lost in your question, but the X5 should have a pretty smooth idle.
