I plasti-dip my E39 window trim. So far so good. Wait atleast 30min between coat and atleast 4hrs before re-installing.
You can buy my HRE, or style150 and painted black. Link in my sig.
Running board would cost around $750
Upgrade to AEs headlight and LED taillights.

I disagree with you here. OEM Xenons are 4300K and they're the brightest with 35W power. I'm not sure if you can replace the ballasts to higher power ones (55W) without overloading the wiring harness and shorter bulb's life.

TMV..isnt 4300k the yellow one?........and my HIds on fogs are meant to be 55w...both bulb and ballast...you are correct though..if you put a ballast that is 55w onto a 35w bulb..the bulb longevity will not last that long..

2. Clear side markers and signals off the sport package models.
3. Black grill.
4. O.E. "is" aero kit if you want to keep spending.

#'s 1 & 2 are mandatory, imo.

Awesome thread we started here. My tires are good brand new. So i will probobly save up some $$$ and buy rims with tires off CL or somthing. my plan is run flats in the back and (slicks?) (good grip tires) for the front... .black powder coated rims.

So has anyone Plasti-dipped the X5 logo and grill on here? I want to see pics?

Led on the tails sounds nice... anyone have a write-up (pics) ? than the tint film or spray on top of the tails.
