Replacing power steering hoses

I just found out leaking from my power steering hoses, from pump to rack, from container to pump, from container to cooling coil. I wonder if anyone has replaced these hoses, and what's difficult level, any special tools required, etc.

I don't have the Bentley manual, is that worth getting?

Thank you very much!

Wow, didn't expect to see the manual online, thanks a lot!

An unrelated question, I just recently changed front brake pads (that's when I noticed the leaking). I didn't realize piston side pad is directional (according to the info from online manual). Does this really matter? I've never heard of any directional brake pad....

How difficult was the work? I tried the link and it was broken. Thanks

That website has been down for quite some time. I think BMW told them to remove copy righted material from the website.
