Is an X5 an SAV or an SUV??!! Take a look!!
 

When I was in Costa Rica, I never thought of doing it, as I read somewhere that the X5 was an SAV and not an SUV!!!

Ballzy, and very lucky...another few inches of water in the river and that car would have downstream. It nearly 'floated' in that last stretch before it shallowed. The force of moving water is remarkable and usually misjudged/underestimated by many people.

Good to know it could do that.

That is what I am saying.

Took a pair to do that though.

Amazing. Respect!! I would never have the nerves to do that in that car.

I think this X5 is a battle veteran - if you look clesely, you will see that it has lost its "ears"... er... mirrors, somewhere - probably trying to squeeze throough some really tight canyons!!!!

Mirrors are optional in that part of the world wherever that is! :D
