Constant & Random Range Warnings

Hi guys, so i am taking out my BMW navigation and stereo to replace it with my Pioneer AVIC F930BT.
So far i have removed the BMW headunit, the radio module, the 6-stacker CD player and the Mk3 nav computer...
Now after doing this i am getting random range warnings at like 670km range and 540 km range.... nothing really to be worried about!
i would expect these warnings at 50km range...
Anyone got any ideas asa to why this is happening???
If it makes any difference, my date and time is not set as i have no way of setting them since the BMW headunit is now gone...

Its because your head unit controlled those options. So the range will never be right and essentially you "screwed" up the OBC.

I've seen people wire the OBC to their glovebox so they don't lose these functions. I'd try that out.

Good luck!

this is another yet example of BMW integration of components - you remove a light bulb in the front of the car, and the rear bumper falls off... :)
