yup, no cutting unless u still want the turn signal lense...

yea it is necessary to bake the headlight to get the cover out but you could always use a heat gun..but i prefer baking since it gets the job done without any hassle...
and yes i baked it again to reseal the headlights... :thumbup:

tks how long did it take you I guess at least 20 minutes for the rebaking, I may do the everything but the angel eyes, I had lots of issues with them on my 99 m3 but would lov to get the ambers out and the lense covers to get the clean look.

it took 10 mins to get the glue soft... :D

did one side with ekaz. took the entire light apart for education. rebuilt the light with the reflectors, and dremelled out areas for the wires. we (i) damaged one large ring trying to get it to fit right. they are VERY delicate.

mod is very easy to do if you knock out the waffles. decided to keep the OEM look with the waffles, and decided not to dremel off the yellow side of the white sports light as the jagged edge of the reflector did not have the right look i was going for. we considered painting the light housing, but decided to wait.

DIY and video step by step install in production for the other side. awaiting replacement for damaged ring.

drove back 300 miles to iowa in pouring rain; no leak in opened light.

i would not recommend doing the AEs blindly if you want to keep the waffles. fit is very tight. i will provide a complete DIY to accomplish this as soon as possible; video step by step will be available as well....

baked at 215 degrees for 10 mins each time --- perfect.
