Is the Redline D4 ATF also the most recommended fluid for the transfer case of a 2002 4.6is?

For what it specifies, any fluid that meets DIII or better is fine. I used D4 ATF in the transfer case in my 2001 X5 3.0i since I had extra from my E36 fill. If you have a GM transmission and want to save a little, Dex VI would also work fine since it meets/exceeds DIII+ standards.

I used D4 ATF in the transfer case when I did my driveline fluids on my 2003. MTL in the manny tranny, and 75w-90 gear oil in the front/rear diffs.
