radio static when I brake?

Hey guys, I have the weirdest problem on my x5 and it just started recently. I get fine radio reception, but every time I brake, it gets all staticky.

Has anybody have this problem before? I don't even know how radio reception has anything to do with the brakes.. this has got to be the most bizzare problem I have ever encountered. :wow:
