Track Your X5 Being Made...???
 

Hi folks,

I'm sure I read on here, sometime ago, that if you have your VIN you can track (online via the web) your car in production...? I did a search and couldn't find the thread I think I remember.

Is this correct?

Yes, you can track it at www.BMWUSA.com by registering at the Owner's Circle section and entering your VIN. I don't know if it'll work for non-US delivery.

I did track my X5 being made but the site gave very little information.

The dealer was able to get more current data.

When I ordered mine the site was broken half the time. Not a lot of info even when it was working.

Owner's Circle was too slow to track the production. I heard they update the production info once a week. I called the 800 number daily and it was more up to date.
