Am i the only one who hated it? Well not so much me as my bank account. I saw so many mods I wanna do to the old girl lol. And i wont even mention how ive been stalking cars.com looking at 4.8i's and 4.8is's. But seriously it was a ton of manure amount of fun!

Twinturbo, how is the perspective view working in the Nav?

I haven't been able to use it. I keep getting a read disc error. I think I scratched the disc when I put it back in:(. I didn't have any time to look at it, I'm going to pull it today and see what is what.

But otherwise those couple of seconds we tried it, it looked great! lol

Hell if my disc is boogered up, maybe I should just get a new one. lol

try to clean the disk with soap and water, see if that would help...

i'll have to figure out how to burn DVDs...

Cleaning DVDs is different from cleaning the old vinyl receords. With vinyl you wiped inthe direction of the grooves (around in circle).

With CDs/DVDs you wipe perpendicular/radial (wipe from the inside/center to the outside).

Darn I forgot about the comparo. Who had the H-pipe there? I would have wanted to hear it myself too.

That looks so awesome. Too bad I missed it. Hopefully next year.

I am getting the same error. And I have not taken out the disc in last 4 years. Sometimes its fine, other days it will give error for whole day, very unreliable.

That's our Le Mans Blue X5 with the black grilles behind us.

My GF's name is Kristen. when she joins the forum, her member name will be Kpro...like her license plate.

What a great bunch of people the Xoutpost members are! Kristen and I had a great time BSing with everyone... It was like family. Everyone was so friendly; it was a blast trading stories and talking about mods, etc. and the food was delicious.

It was an impressive show of X5s... everyone was taking pictures of our cars once we had them lined up in that semicircle. We can't wait until next year's event. Last year there were like, 3 X5s

We should all get together more often. we all seem to be relatively close to one another...

Yeah, it was a fun time and always good to make new friends. I try to make meets up in NY/NJ so I try not to have the distance deter me too much. :)

bwahahahaha!!!! I would have loved to see his face at that moment. I try not to drive like an asshole, but there was a 5-series that wouldn't leave me alone. Our E46 is the Dinan tuned machine, unfortunately we left it at home to bring the truckmeat and the 1. The 1-is tuned on JB-4 with bolt-on parts, the Engine internals are stock. Pushing 1 bar or 14.5 psi or so putting just over 405 down to the wheels.

Guys and Natalie, I had a lot of fun hangin' with everyone! Thanks to the Jamaican guy for the beer, and the gentlemen for the sausage kabobs, they were amazing! I had a great time and it was fun to meet new people. TwinsPoppa, I kept seeing kids climbing around in the car and thought it was my X5, had me lol'ing a few different times. Lets get together again before next year's meet!

Ah man I still can't get over how much fun I had. Everyone was great. We def need to do a meet in the fall. There is a stretch of highway in the north, toward sussex county. Its all country roads and 80 and 15 stretch through there. There is a old fashion burger joint called The Chatterbox that usually has a car show of vintage cars. We could to a caravan up there and take pictures with the trees turning colors in the backdrop. I dunno just an idea.

I'm up for that!

I don't know who took the pic you're talking ab, but Jon Shafer is the guy with the Canon in the pic in this thread. Jon is from
SoCal and doesn't own an X5. That's not to say he wasn't with someone at the event who does own an X5. He also could have been driving a loaner from a sponsor dealer, BMWNA, or another vendor.

Lol just when back to the group pic and noticed we had numbers. I am #12 and yeah that's who I was talking about.

I came to Russia at the end of sep of '09, my car got there from lat. america in the beginning of nov, and "they" took it for a whole day for inspection and "they" needed engine serial number... that was the beginning of the end.... lol... the russians kicked me out of country around july 4 of '10, gave me 48 hours to pack up and go, so i left, but the car stayed behind... they shipped the car in the beginning of aug, and i got it in DC area in october... two left windows were down, the door handle was busted... i bitched to insurance, they proved that they picked up the car like that, i bitched to employer, and basically was told to "shut up" and not make waves... so, i used the info off the forum and got the windows and handle fixed with minimal financial losses... when i was pulling the guts from the doors, i noticed that the doors were not "virgin", someone was sticking their dick-hands in there...

now i wonder if the car next to me in the traffic jam going through his radio channels and picking up a conversation and my kids yelling and screaming inside my car??!!!! that would be so cool!!! :nanana:

Even closer to me, just 1/2 an hour. It's the Inner Harbor in Baltimore so people should just make it an overnighter. Have breakfast there on Sunday too before heading home. Just like we do in the Stamford meets. :)

Hmm, I'll have to get Kristen to check her Saturday schedule... hopefully she doesn't work that Saturday.... the inner harbor is fun.
