DIY Video - Air Strut Replacement Guide

Hi guys,

Here is a link to a video I put together. I used a replacement re-manufactured Arrnott Industries strut. I purchased two new bolts and nuts as well.

UPDATE: Rear airbag replacement video can be found here:

UPDATE: If you have a susp. inactive light, it could be your airpump failing, please see the video list here for a DIY guide for removal.

UPDATE #2: If you need to replace your air pump, like I did, watch this video below.

Those are fuses, not relay in the beginning of vid. Otherwise nice.

And those fuses did not help in my case, as the air filled when I raised the jack.
I ended up disconnecting battery.

Great video DIY. Nothing better than that. You can submit this as article in here

Yea man, I thought it odd that it worked for him too. But others reported his way working. Strange cars indeed.

Both sides are Arrnott or did you replace one side only? Any issue?

I had the fuses out but the moment I started raising the jack under the rotor, the bag filled tight with air. :dunno:

Good videos, and explanations... Will help the less mechanically inclinded members on here to maybe take a jab at it on their own.

People complain about the air system, but in the end the replacement parts do not cost much more or maybe even equal to replacing coils, thing is in the end these are definetly a ton easier for the fact of you dont have to mess around with compressing springs in/out in the front, and fiddling around to compress the rear springs for removal/installation.
