Aftermarket Exhaust System for 4.8is

Hey Guys,

Is there a complete aftermarket exhaust system I could purchase online that will fit onto the 4.8is??

if so can you guys direct me to where I could purchase one? and the cost? (for North America)

I am looking to buy the resinator, pipes, and mufflers (aftermarket) for better exhaust note. I dont know if ac schnitzer makes one for the 4.8is or another company so any additional help would be appreciated. I found some for the 4.4L and 3.0L but none really for the 4.8is.

My shop said they did work on a 4.8is approx: 8-9 months ago. I guy brought in stainless steel resinator that was bigger then stock - and he also brought in free flow mufflers - when they welded everything the system produced amazing exhaust sound... I would like to achieve the same..

Any help to purchase a good aftermarket system would be appreciated..

Screw that. Get the shop to remove the resonators and add an H pipe. Your welcome.

I am not looking to just make the thing sound louder -- That I already did - I want to overhaul the entire exhaust sound -- and only way to do that is to get new piping from resinator all the way out.. so like I originally asked -- any of you guys can direct me to where I could purchase a entire aftermarket exhaust system for the 4.8is?? and the cost? (for North America)

I'm running bullet-style resonators, high flow cats, and an Eisenmann cat-back. The Eisenmann has a deeper sound than most, and sounds fantastic. The cats made it a lot louder.

I agree with papa. You cannot go wrong with Eisenmann exhaust. It's pure music on BMW V8/V10's. Good luck with your journey.

I think you guys are both 100% right... Their exhaust systems are good... But where can I purchase the parts listed above for a halfway decent price?? Location: eastern us.... I searched and could only find super sprint mufflers -- where can I buy the above parts from?? Where did you guys get these parts from??

u should just get a custom xhaust made, ul save money and u get whatever u want,

3" stainless ;) hopefully

supersprint makes headers for an insane price :P

i tryed looking up specs for cat backs but they dont say what Diameter the pipes are which is realy stupid when ur paying 1700$+
