Tyre pressures

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know the correct tyre pressures for a 4.4i with 20" (4.6is) wheels with Michelin Diamaris?

The guys who fitted them reckon it should be 40 psi, but the car feels very lively at this pressure! and the handbook says 32 psi but that was for smaller wheels.

Thanks
Adam

I'm running 32 psi all around for my 20s, which was recommended from the manual.

40 psi is way too high.

Not only is 40 too high, but it will make you feel like you are riding on bricks ;)

According to the sticker on my driver's side door, it says the following:
Front: 32psi, Rear: 39psi for full load
Front: 32psi, Rear: 33psi for front + up to 1,364kg (3,077 lbs) rear

These numbers are from my 4.6is.

along with the manual, read the tire sidewall for min/max inflation levels.

I have 22" tires and I use 34 PSI.

Speaking of tires. I heard from people that the BMW cars don't need the routine tire rotations. Is this true?
