DDE error codes ==>> Solved<==
 

Hello,
I have a 2002 e53 3,0d.
getting fuel inject. system errors.
Car goes into limp mode.

reading out error codes gives me this

DDE* -> 0100/DC - Air-mass flow sensor
0235/DC - Charge-air-pressure sensor
1E55/74 - Supply V f. PTS 2, CAP sensor, AMF sensor
0220/74 - Pedal-travel sensor 2 PGS
Shadow-memory:
0100/DC - Air-mass flow sensor
0235/DC - Charge-air-pressure sensor
1E55/74 - Supply V f. PTS 2, CAP sensor, AMF sensor
0220/74 - Pedal-travel sensor 2 PGS

If I step really hard on the gas pedal it sometimes wakes up and goes into normal mode again.

I have replaced the DDE but problem remains.. :(
Checked all fuses.

Sounds like Maf said good bye.

Yes, MAF could be faulty but since the error come and go it seems unlikely that cap and pedal sensor also broken.
And then the car can run perfect for a couple of hours..
Then the error comes back and always the same fault codes.

So that is why I suspect Voltage to these sensors.
Have checked plus and ground at the DDE and I have 13,6V.

I had similar problem and it was faulty pump in tank, check it out under high load, during taking diagnose
