What to do with Style 57 wheels

X5 has been gone for over a year now, but I still have the 17" Style 57 wheels (commonly referred to as "girlie wheels") in my basement. Is it even worth trying to sell these things (any demand for them?) or would I be better off trying to get moeny for them at a scrap metal yard?

I sold my set a few months back for $200. Put it on CL for cheap and you might get a buyer.

What do they look like?? I need some snow rims ??

From what I remember, 3 are perfect and one is a little banged up. I can get some pics this weekend.

Still kicking myself for not leaving the tires on them and putting them back on when I traded her - then I would be trying to get rid of some 215s instead!

These wheels and some snow tires or good all season tires with turn your x into mountain goat.

Agree on trying to move them in northern/real winter states...with dedicated snows they make any X, even the pre-Xdrive MYs, truly a Mtn Goat. I ran them 5 winters, then sold the set to a poster here, from NJ.

I also ran these in Gotham City before I purchase my 87's and they ate through the snow and potholes like a tazmanian devil. I still my set catching dust in storage. If anyone is interested they're for sale.

post em up on ebay as well. I just paid about 50 bucks (plus shipping) for one for a spare...... poor suckers that dont have a spare will pay good money for the darn things.

Ok looks like there might be a market out there for these. Thanks for everyone's input.

Renewed my premier membership today so I can post these for sale along with some other things, including a brand new black leather front seat cover with seat heater element.
