the bulbs now days are dirt cheap on the ebay, and they last relatively long - if you decide to change one, change both at the same time, to maitain the same color scheme of the light output.

the earth wire is screwed with the torx head screw into the hole where the ballast is held in place by the metal bracket - the bracket has a hole, that matches up to the hole in the plastic bracket, and the ground wire is put onto that screw before screw is attached, to hold the metal bracket that holds the ballast in place...

i am not sure if I explained it right... let me know if you need more info...

Damn it,

I thought that was the place for the Earth wire but i didn't wire it there simply because the tray itself is plastic, the only thing that is metal there is the Ballast so i made up a new chassic/earth for it. Oh well.

As for the colour, i suspect that the left light was pointing down too much ..... regardless i was prepare and did have 2 D2S (Osram and not Phillip) that some kid upgraded their Xenon to 6-8000K (useless) and sold it to me for like $10 :).

Ok think i found the issue .....

It seems like the projector of the left of the head light has either fall off whatever that held it in place ..... Or its pointing down real bad.

I did read somewhere that if these projector lights are over adjust, it can comes off its holder or the same thing can happens if there is an accident/impact. Do i need to bake it open in order to fix it or i can try to use my girly fingers through the bulb's socket!!!!

All good, all i need was some crazy adjustment. Don't know why it was set the way it is on the previous car !!!
Car looks much better with projector headlight for some reasons :)

If you really want to wow yourself with the results, ditch the 8k bulbs and get a decent set of 4.3k or 5k bulbs! Anything higher just Detracts from the whole point of doing this kind of conversion: better light!! :)

Factory standard is a little bit less than 4300K isn't it?

I've installed many after market kits for my mate and 4300K is what i always recommended them.

The Phillips 85122(+) is the factory bulb @ 4300K. It'll be the best option output wise until you step up to the Top tier osrams.

Yeah my set up is factory set up.
