Body colored fender flares?
 

I'm thinking of adding LeMans fender flares but in body color, leaving the fender wells they attach to plain black.

Anyone do this yet? What do you guys think?

BTW this will be on an 04 silver 3.0 if it matters. Already painted the rear bumper diffuser silver and looking at a 4.6 or 4.8 chin.

It would look more like a slap-on piece. I don't think it would look good, unless you paint everything. Leave them plain and keep them clean.

Agreed. IMO, it would look gaudy.

Am looking for a way to add a bit of character to the side view. What do you guys suggest?

Have been looking at the E70 style body color side skirts that go under the running boards also. What do you guys think of these:
