Stripped tensioner pully bolt
Hey all, in the midst of replacing my water pump, I stripped the Torx 45 bolt that was in the tensioner pulley. I can't seem to find a replacement anywhere online for it. Anybody know where to look, or am I stuck with taking it to a machine shop and paying a lot of cash for a custom one (I think I can still back it out, just not enough thread left to crank it clockwise to take the tension off)? 3.0 with a mechanical pulley, by the way.
Thanks! |
It will be special order. Call dealer, give part number, and wait.

Lovely. Thanks, though. Do you by any chance know where I can find the part number? Can't seem to even find any mention of it online. I had to do the same thing for a rear shock bolt for my Rover - $38 bolt.

Yes, go to realoem.com, put in your car info, and look for the part number of the bolt. |
Already did so, but I'm afraid it was after the last post. Thanks for pointing towards Realoem.
