Decided against the sat nav (comms pack) as I don't like the BMW nav display and will fit a Pioneer system.

Need to get the titanium grille sorted out, and thinking about installing the SMG paddle shift steering wheel as I love this system on our CSL.

Enables the police to find the vehicle if it gets stolen, and also means the car can be 'tracked' on ? GPS I think if it is moved illegally.

Without a "tracker" system installed its almost impossible to insure your X5 in the UK!Dont know of an insurance company in the Uk that will give you full comprehensive insurance!

well i dont have tracker installed. Admiral insurance insured me at a very competative price. £680 for year.

I don't have tracker either - I'm with www.swiftcover.com now who don't insist on having tracker. They are 100% online and I'm paying around £480 for my 3.0i Petrol X5.

well im with elephant.co.uk and there £786 without the tracker , but as its got tracker fitted im changing to direct line and the qoute has dropped to £488 and the wife gets discount for being a R.B.S. employee of another 10%

I'm £390 per year with no tracker. That's with "More Than".
