Dyno mode?

I've got a dyno appointment lined up for the '05 4.8 tomorrow. Anything I need to know? I tried searching, but didn't come up with a whole lot. One member on here said I need to unplug the ABS(or do I just need to hold down the DSC button to disable it all the way)?

Thanks!
Ricky

if you unplug ABS module, your speedometer, and whole lot of other needles in the cluster will go dead, you will get ABS, BRAKE, DSC lights on (all reversible), the transmission fall into failsafe mode (3rd gear only)...

he probably meant to turn off the DSC mode by pressing the button...

do you need to do that in order to do dynO?>..can you just put the car on dyno and run it?>..without not pressing any buttons?>

I am not sure how on facelift X5s is but on mine when I had the ABS module defective I had the tranny locked in 3rd gear but after I unplugged the ABS module to send it to reman I got all the gears back. So I used the car for a couple of weeks like that until I got the module back.

By turning off the ABS/ASC will not change the numbers on the dyno chart .
Remove that fat CAT will improve the numbers...

I ran my X5 4.6 on a 4 wheel dyno a few months back. Nothing was disabled or disconnected and runs went fine.

Awesome, thank you very much. I'll post up the graphs tomorrow night.
